Aim
Supporting the development of the city’s new ‘Green Corridor’.
Challenge
Vulnerable communities, loneliness and little social cohesion in neighbourhoods, lack of integration of economic and social activities.
Solution
The Green Corridor is Cali’s Transit Oriented Development (TOD) project and aims to transform Cali’s community lifestyle by creating a new development axis in the city, which connects the eastern parts with the rest of the city. It would be a sustainable, resilient and inclusive place of economic prosperity, enjoyment and integration for all residents by connecting a wide range of activities and projects. The Green Corridor would build a more sustainable and resilient city by improving the urban planning, land-use efficiency, connectivity of areas, and as a result creating overall social and environmental benefits.
