Amanda joined Global Infrastructure Basel Foundation (GIB) to support Project NATALIE and Project SOTERIA.
Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Public Administration specializing in International and European Governance from the University of Leiden. During her studies, she worked as a trainee at a business advisory firm in The Hague, which connects both national and international companies to governmental contracts. Amanda has also been a project lead and board member of a non-profit organization that stimulates economically and socially disadvantaged women by supporting microfinance projects in Africa and Asia.
Amanda moved from the Netherlands to Switzerland and started to work in the financial sector in the field of sustainability risk and governance, focusing on the topic of sustainable finance. She conducted due diligence and assessments of sustainability risks arising from transactions and counterparties and supported the running of the management committee for sustainable financing.
