Amber is the Project Manager for the S²Cities Program in Basel, Switzerland and will be implementing the Safe&Sound Cities project in Basel to help LGBTQ+ youth find solutions to address safety and participation issues. They have a background in Gender Studies and Social Studies and engage in communal activism as well as educating youth on topics such as gender diversity, queerness and acceptance.

Areas of Expertise:

• expertise on gender-related topics (i.e. gender equality and LGBTIQ+ issues)
• previous work on gender-based violence and queerphobia
• experience in education with the goal of preventing stigma and stereotypes around gender roles and queerness
