Arshia is a Project Manager at GIB. She helps manage the FAST-Infra Sustainable Label Secretariat. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Math in North Carolina, USA, Arshia worked in the area on international developement at the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), helping shape sustainable economic and social policies in developing and low-income countries. She got her Master’s degree in International Economics from the Gradute Institute in Geneva and continued working with different UN organizations. She worked with UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) helping monitor the economic, health and enviroment sector in Nepal to ensure its smooth transition to middle-income country status. She also worked with the International Trade Centre (ITC) helping with its engagement strategy in a new UN Framework and aligning its operations to achive the Sustainable Development Goals. She has years of experience in strategic collaborations with both public and private sector.
