Juraj Jurik
Director Infrastructure & Nature

Juraj is responsible for a set of projects that aim at enhancing ecosystem services and natural capital. Most of his work is currently focused on the uptake of Nature-based Solutions to mitigate impacts of river flooding. Juraj has international work experience in environmental management, protected areas management, marketing and communication. He worked with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) in Geneva on strengthening the business case for investing in natural infrastructure by the private sector. He also worked at the Swisscleantech in Zurich on a global campaign to support environmentally friendly technologies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Humanities & Liberal Arts and master’s degree in Sustainable Development Studies from the Charles University in Prague. During his studies he participated in international exchange programs (Finland, Australia) where he developed knowledge in Project Management, Nature Conservation, Urban & Environmental Planning.
