Victor Beumer is a landscape ecologist. He works as an independent consultant on urban Nature-based Solutions from a research perspective as well as from the building perspective. He holds a PhD on wetland ecology focused on flood management in riverine areas and has worked almost 10 years for a large Dutch research institute, Deltares. The last 2 years Victor has been working as a contractor mostly for Earthwatch Europe (UK) as senior research leader Climate Resilient Cities and Primum (NL) as senior adviser Integrated Ecology. For the GIB Foundation Victor supports Nature for Catchment Launchramp project consulting on the implementation strategy on riverine Nature-based Solutions in Greece and Cyprus.
